Pho Lovers
Here’s a unique, NLP-optimized, conversational-style write-up for “Pho Lovers” with seamless transitions, moderate burstiness, and a casual tone as requested:
Tucked away in Sunnyvale at 253 E Maude Ave, Pho Lovers is that low-key gem locals can't stop talking about. The vibe here is just right—casual, friendly, a little noisy in the best way, and totally welcoming whether you're rolling in with the kids or a whole group of friends.
Now, let’s talk food. If you’re craving real Vietnamese comfort, you’re in for a treat. The Pho Ga (chicken pho) hits the spot with a light, aromatic broth that somehow feels both soothing and exciting. But if you’re more of a beef lover, the Pho Tai brings those tender rare slices that melt into the soup just perfectly.
Not in the mood for noodles? No worries. The Com Bo Luc Lac Rice Plate is a flavor-packed favorite, serving up shaking beef cubes with a side of jasmine rice that’s way more satisfying than it has any right to be. For spice chasers, the Bun Bo Hue is where it’s at—bold, spicy, and deeply rich.
And let’s not forget the Nem Nuong. These grilled pork rolls are a must-try—savory, a bit smoky, and made to dip. Honestly, they’re the kind of appetizer you’ll wish you ordered two of.
With food that delivers comfort and bold flavors in every bite, Pho Lovers isn’t just another pho spot—it’s the kind of place you stumble into once and keep coming back to because it just gets it. Whether you’re there for a quiet lunch or a group hangout, there’s something on the menu that hits home.

The Bay Area has no shortage of yummy pho places, and this happens to be my favorite! I always prefer egg noodle over rice noodle, which this place offers. We also love their fried lemongrass tofu. When I'm not feeling soup, I usually order that with a side of rice. Although tucked away in an unassuming spot, the interior is spacious, clean and homey. It shares a parking lot with a neighboring market though, so parking can be a challenge sometimes. Service is great when it's not busy... but when it is, it can be a little slow, which is expected. But the food always comes out quick and fresh.
Probably my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Sunnyvale! The restaurant has a hole in the wall vibe, but indoors the decor is very nice and feels welcoming. The food is excellent, and we have been especially impressed with the spicy noodle soup and lemongrass tofu, but the regular pho and spring rolls are also great. The staff are also flexible with modifications to dishes as needed. The drinks menu is also varied, with not just iced coffee (which is delicious here), but many nice fruit juice options as well. The only minor complaints I have are that the service has often been pretty slow, where we had long waits before our food arrived, even when there weren't many other customers, and that parking can be somewhat tough since the lot is small and shared with the adjacent grocery store.
I went at around 11am on a Sunday, and the place was almost empty. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and a casual vibe with some Asian decor. The menu has vegetarian options and quite a large selection to choose from in general. The tables were clean, and our server was quick to take our order, but she mostly left us along for far too long after delivering our food and my party decided to head to the register ask for more utensils, and to pay, since she never came back. I got a passion fruit drink, which was very fresh and I loved the seeds included in it. The beef combo was not as hot as I would have liked when it arrived, and a tad bland. But that's what all the condiments and toppings are for, right? My friend got a chicken dish and egg noodles, which they enjoyed. I also got a tip from one of the staff that you could up-size your order of pho and split, since the portions are pretty generous.
I came in for lunch today with some friends and I wanted some soup. I ordered the combo pho and my friend had a vegetarian dish while the other had veggie pho. Service was great. When we want Pho, this is our go to place in Sunnyvale. Our server Vicky is wonderful!!!! This is actually my second time here. My friends love this restaurant. Your meal comes out quick and fast, if you only have an hour lunch, this is a great option. We would definitely come back whenever we want some Pho.
Came here during a work day for lunch. We were a bit early for lunch time so were able to find a table easily. Finding parking on the other hand can be difficult in the plaza. The restaurant has a welcoming decor. Service is fast and the servers are friendly. I went with the Noodle plate (#42 on the menu). The chicken and shrimp were both very tasty and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous for the price. I can see myself coming back here for lunch.
